Silvertowne LP charging 20% restocking fee for order cancellation


On 08/03/2014 I placed an order with Silvertowme for 2 Buffalo 10oz .999 silver bars and I paid $437.00 for both bars. A week passed and Silvertowne still hasn't shipped the products that I purchased on 08/03/2014, therefore I contacted their customer service department to inquire about the delay in shipping. A lady answered my call and I provided her with my order details and shared with her my concerns pertaining to the delayed shipment, the rep was rude and unprofessional, she advised that are they are " backed up" with orders on their own silver brand which feature their name and trademark, however I made it clear to her that I did not place an order for the Silvertowne branded silver bars but instead for the buffalo silver bars, still she gave me the same answer that they are currently " backed up" and nothing can be done and that I have to wait for my order to get processed. I informed her that I would like to cancel my order and she told me that if I did so I will be charged a 20% restocking fee to cancel the order. I protested the restocking fee to no avail, and she advised that if I cancelled my order a note will be attached to my account that I canceled the order. I went ahead and told her to cancel my order regardless and that I would never conduct business with them again. This company charged almost $90 ( 20% restocking fee ) just to cancel my order which took the rep a minute of her time to input the cancelation in their system. This company is a sham and is defrauding its customers with their fraudulent restocking fee scheme. Refund me the whole amount that I paid you for the order ( $437.00) without any restocking fees.
